Nicole K. Braden-Johnson has previously published
poems in The Write Launch, Spires, The Mind's Eye, SPLASH! (Haunted Waters Press) as well as in her monthly poetry
column “Unheard Melodies,” featured in the local publication Conway Currents (formerly The Visitor).
Pre-pandemic, she had an arts column in the Greenfield Recorder titled "Valley Verses."
Additionally, she is a member of the Connecticut River Flute Choir and the Montague Community Band.
Nicole holds a doctorate in Literature/American Studies from the University of Konstanz in Germany. She works as an adjunct professor at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, and Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She is an alumna of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where she earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy, and she received her M.A. in English from Westfield State University in 2016. Nicole lives in Conway, Massachusetts, with her husband, David, their two sons, Kenneth and Nicholas, and several companion animals.
